The Niagara Apothecary was an apothecary in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, established no later than 1820, and is now a National Historic Site of Canada. It was operated by a series of successive owners, most of whom had apprenticed under the preceding owner. In the 1960s, it was purchased by the Niagara Foundation, which targeted the building.

Operating hours are noon to 6 p.m. daily, starting on May 14 until the Labour Day long weekend (September 4). Following September 4, the Niagara Apothecary will only be open.

A newspaper advertisement describes the store location as "The Niagara Apothecary at the Sign of the Golden Mortar opposite Smith's Tavern." Starkwather sold the practice to James.

Henry Paffard was Lord Mayor of Niagara-on-the-Lake for 26 years. He served three terms in office: 1863-1874, 1875-1880 and 1888-1896 — terms that came with a great many difficulties.. The Niagara Apothecary had a wonderful public archeological dig this past summer of 2017, sponsored by the Ontario Heritage Trust. The dig lasted five weeks.
